About Heartland Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area

Mission
Provide the collective outreach, support and strategic infrastructure to effectively manage invasive species across boundaries in the four-county area of DeSoto, Hardee, Highlands and Polk Counties.

Steering Committee/Membership Partners
This is the only committee so far and is the same as membership. Partners include TNC, SWFWMD, FDEP, DOF-DACS, FFWCC, Polk County, Highlands County, Hardee County and DeSoto County.
