The FY11 Herbicide Bank is now open. The attachments, further described below, include one 'non-Bank' document that is included for your benefit. This is the pricing sheet for chemicals awarded under ITB FWC 09/10-89, effective July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. This statewide agency term contract covers all herbicides (and some adjuvants), except for a few chemical products contracted solely by the FWC Aquatic Plant Management Program (endothall, fluoridone, penoxsulam). All FWC employees are required to use this contract; other agencies have the option to use it, if they so choose. DMS said they would approve this as an alternate source contract (ACS), so it may be used by any public agency for "piggybacking" off of our contract without first having to go through DMS for approval.
If you are ordering for yourself- The attached list of vendors is the same for the ITB and the Herbicide Bank. Note that some products may be split between vendors based upon container size (see various glyphosate generics, for example). Make sure you match the product and container size to the correct vendor(s) when placing an order. All prices are FOB. Check the invoice for sales tax, which will occasionally show up, even though they know better. You may be asked to provide your tax-exempt certificate. Also, be sure to follow the instructions on the container when using any product. Remember, "the label is the law."
Not all products on the ITB list are available through the Herbicide Bank (see Herbicide Bank Product List). Due to funding constraints, the Herbicide Bank continues as a maintenance program for public land managers who have previously received BIPM/IPMS-funded contractual operations (see exception below). All requests are subject to approval by IPMS. Approved requests will be filled as funding allows. The attached Annual Summary Report should be submitted for chemicals used in the previous fiscal year, before requesting additional chemicals for the current fiscal year. Chemicals we provided in June for use during this year would be reported after the end of FY11.
