Description of Program The Pinellas County Environmental Fund is a partnership among Pinellas County (FL), NOAA, and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. The purpose of this partnership is to provide grants for projects that conserve and restore fish and wildlife habitat in Tampa Bay.

Match Required?Yes Projects require a minimum 1:1 match of non-federal funds or contributed goods and services
Target Invasive Species? Invasive exotic species that impact fisheries habitat within the Tampa Bay watershed.
Any other Requirements or Eligibility?Grant funds cannot be used for political advocacy, fundraising, lobbying or litigation activities or to support projects resulting from legally mandated mitigation projects. The Fund cannot provide funds for general administrative overhead or indirect expenses.
