The next steering committee meeting will be held at Se7en Wetlands Park in Lakeland, FL (Polk County) on August 4th at 10 AM and ending by 12PM (noon).

Topics on the agenda include:

• New Co-Chair Welcome
• NAISMA plug – Dr. Deah Lierance (Tentative)
• Website overview and updates
• Roles and Goals (i.e. leadership opportunities, what our group want to accomplish, etc.)
• 2023 Annual Workshop, aka Central Florida Invasive Species Workshop
  • Set a date for the 2023 Annual Workshop
  • Discuss potential presentations
• Set dates for the next 6 meetings (Bring your calendar!)
