About Us!

The Suncoast CISMA mission is to address the threat to native diversity within the Suncoast Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area by coordinating and increasing efforts to eliminate or reduce invasive, non-native plants and animals across public and private boundaries. Our first planning meeting was held on March 30th, 2010. Through cooperation between our members, we aim to enhance our understanding of invasive species management, use outreach to inform and encourage the elimination of invasive exotic species, and foster support from community leaders as well as citizens.

We meet monthly on Microsoft Teams to plan our educational events and discuss potential workdays.  Please join the list-serve for notifications.
